My health journey

My first exposure to Naturopathy was when I was five years old suffering with chronic eczema, head-to-toe! My parents were at their wits’ end trying to identify what was causing the constant itch. I had been to many health professionals over the years, but the life changing experience was a suggestion made by my grandma to have a naturopath consultation.

After the initial visit, my mum started making the recommended dietary and topical skin care changes, taking note of how the treatment impacted my skin health. Within a few months of follow ups and a lot of gut work, my skin was repairing and starting to heal. With the advice and support from the naturopath, my mum was able to identify what triggers were causing my skin inflammation and ditch the topical steroid creams! I have had a few flare ups since but have been able to address what was needing attention in my diet and lifestyle.

Fast forward to my early twenties, I enrolled into the Advance Diploma of Naturopathy after the wonderful experience of naturopathic medicine in my early childhood. During my time at the College, I understood the fundamentals of traditional naturopathy with scientific components from some very amazing and inspiring lecturers. During my four years of study, I understood basic anatomy and physiology, biochemistry and medical terminology, each year building on my knowledge and going further into my herbal and nutritional medicine, a big passion of mine!  During my student years, I was fortunate to work at the South Perth Naturopathic Clinic (SPNC), which funnily enough was the original clinic I went to as a five-year-old client with mum. During my time at SPNC, I saw firsthand how a busy and successful multi-modality clinic ran and was fortunate to be mentored by some very knowledgeable naturopaths.

Since graduating at the end of 2016, I have been lucky to start my Naturopath consulting in the beautiful Pilbara town, Karratha. Karratha had been my clinic space and home for the past seven years until recently moving back to the Perth Hills region.

The tools I have gained through my studies and workplace have been the most valuable skills I have ever learned for myself, for my family, and for my clients. I am truly blessed to LOVE what I do.

My clinic approach is wholistic - I look at your mindset, nutrition and lifestyle combined, creating a mind-body connection. I want to guide you in having the best health possible.
